Abstract

Meunasah is a unique socio-religious institution in Aceh that functions as the heart of community civilization. Historically, it served as a center for worship, education, and cultural preservation. However, modernization has shifted its role, particularly among the youth in Gampong Lamteumen Barat, Banda Aceh. This community service aims to empower youth through the revitalization of Dalāil al-Khairāt recitation to restore meunasah’s prosperity. The partner situation analysis revealed low participation due to scheduled conflicts with evening religious classes and the proliferation of modern coffee shops. The service method employed a qualitative descriptive approach using Participatory Action Research (PAR). Implementation results indicate that shifting the recitation schedule to 21:00 WIB and providing spiritual motivation significantly increased youth engagement. Social impacts include the strengthening of ukhuwah Islamiyah, character building, and the preservation of cultural heritage against external ideologies. This program fosters social capital by integrating traditional wisdom with contemporary youth needs. In conclusion, the synergy between village leaders and youth organizations successfully restored the meunasah’s role. This program recommends continuous mentorship and infrastructure modernization to sustain youth interest in local traditions in the digital era.
